The greatest attraction of the zoo is that anyone can easily observe living creatures. Through moving encounters with animals, you can become familiar with them, learn more about them, and reflect on the importance of the nature that has nurtured them. Learning at the zoo can also be a place to build an important foundation for thinking about and acting on the future of people, living creatures, and nature. We have prepared a variety of educational programs and teaching materials so that everyone can learn in a fun way, deepen their understanding of nature and living creatures, and think about that future. Please feel free to take advantage of them.
Conservation/Research
Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos and Aquariums are systematically implementing conservation activities using a multifaceted approach to protect rare species, and are promoting efforts to pass on the rich natural environment to the future.
Donations and Support
We will introduce our donation system that supports the Tokyo Metropolitan Zoo and conservation activities for rare species, our membership system for learning about animals, our collaboration with volunteers, and our in-zoo advertising business.
