Inokashira Park Zoo is recruiting interns for zoo and museum (curator) positions for the 2026 academic year (Reiwa 8).
Eligible
Zoo Internship
Applicants must be interested in our zoo's activities and be enrolled in a junior college, university, graduate school, or vocational/specialized school, majoring in a subject related to animals, zoos, or aquariums, in their second year or higher, and be able to receive an official recommendation from their institution.
*Related departments include zoology, veterinary medicine, biology, animal husbandry, fisheries science, as well as technical training courses related to animal handling businesses at vocational schools and other specialized schools.
Museum (Curator) Internship
In accordance with Article 5, Paragraph 1 of the Museum Law, we are seeking university students in their third year or above who are enrolled in an educational institution such as a university and are seeking credits for "Museum Internship," and who are interested in the activities of our museum (all majors are welcome).
Internship period and capacity
Zoo Internship
Internship period:
Period ① September 4th (Fri) - September 13th (Sun), 2026 *Two of these days are holidays (8 working days)
Period ② September 25th (Fri) - October 4th (Sun), 2026 *Two of these days are holidays (8 working days)
Capacity: 3 people per term (6 people in total)
Museum (Curator) Internship
Internship period: November 19th (Thu) - December 1st (Tue), 2026 *3 days of holidays (10 working days)
Capacity: 4 people

Please read the "Inokashira Park Zoo Internship Application Guidelines for Fiscal Year 2026" carefully before applying.
• This application must be submitted by the student who wishes to participate in the internship. *Personal information is required.
・After selection, you will be asked to submit an application form through your affiliated school. Before applying, please be sure to inform the internship office at your affiliated school that you intend to apply for the internship.
*You will need to provide the contact information (department name, address, and phone number) for the internship office at your affiliated school.
- You must attach an essay (Form 1 or Form 2) when submitting your application.
Please apply using the internship application form as follows.

Valid for submissions sent until June 19, 2026 (Friday).
Notification of selection results
Regardless of whether you are accepted or not, you will be notified of the selection results by the internship coordinator at your school in mid-to-late July 2026. Instructions on how to apply will also be provided at that time.
