Living Creatures and Exhibits

Learning and Experience

The greatest appeal of an aquarium is undoubtedly the opportunity for anyone to easily observe living creatures in their natural habitat. These moving encounters with animals can foster familiarity, lead to a deeper understanding, and encourage reflection on the importance of nature that nurtured them. Learning at an aquarium can also serve as a crucial foundation for considering and acting upon the future of humanity, animals, and nature. We offer a variety of educational programs and materials to ensure everyone can learn in an enjoyable environment. Please come and visit us!

Conservation/Research

Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos and Aquariums are systematically implementing conservation activities using a multifaceted approach to protect rare species, and are promoting efforts to pass on the rich natural environment to the future.

Support and donations

We will introduce our donation system that supports the Tokyo Metropolitan Zoo and conservation activities for rare species, our membership system for learning about animals, our collaboration with volunteers, and our in-zoo advertising business.
