The exhibition reopened on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Currently, we are exhibiting Japanese native creatures such as kelp, red seaweed, Spotnape Cardinalfish, and filefish.

Please take your time to observe the seaweed and fish swaying in the waves in front of the tank.

Tokyo Sea Life Park will be carrying out tank maintenance in preparation for breeding species to be exhibited in the new aquarium currently under construction. As a result, the "Seaweed Forest" tank will be closed from Friday, February 6, 2026.

Closure period: February 6th (Fri) - February 24th (Tue), 2026 (tentative)

Currently, the "Seaweed Forest" tank is experimentally cultivating Japanese seaweed species in preparation for the new aquarium, while also exhibiting fish and invertebrates from the California coast. After the renovations are complete, the fish and invertebrates will be changed to Japanese species. Some of the California coastal fish currently on display will be moved to a separate tank.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our visitors, and we appreciate your understanding.
