The park's opening anniversary event, "All About MAGURO," will be held!

October 10th is the anniversary of the opening of Tokyo Sea Life Park. It is also "Tuna Day" (*). The aquarium will be holding a tuna-themed anniversary event, "All About MAGURO," for three days from October 10th (Sat) to 12th (Mon/Holiday). Also, as in previous years, admission will be free on the anniversary day, October 10th (Sat)!

Tuna are one of the main attractions at our aquarium. We'll show you everything you need to know about them. Please come and visit us!

"Tuna Bingo" distribution

Let's have fun observing the swimming and body structure of Pacific Bluefin Tuna using a bingo-style self-observation sheet! Participants will receive an original wallpaper as a gift.

Information Desk Mini Special Exhibition: "Tuna Peeking"

How big are tuna eggs? Do they have teeth? We'll introduce you to the secrets of tuna that you can't easily see in aquariums, using specimens. If you have any questions about tuna, please feel free to ask our staff who are always on hand.

This program introduces the ingenuity and techniques developed so far in raising tuna! How are the tuna transported to the aquarium? How much food is prepared? The program also features the tools that animal keeper use on a daily basis.

We will also introduce various tuna research projects being conducted by the Fisheries Research and Education Agency.

Special guided tour: "Exploring the hidden side of tuna"

We'll give you a tour of the back of the aquarium, a place you don't usually get to go.

Fantasy musical "Honu by the Sea"

A musical about marine conservation, set against the backdrop of the Hawaiian ocean, is coming from Hawaii, USA.

The basic dialogue is in English, but we will also incorporate Japanese songs into the performance. The content is enjoyable even for young children, so please come and participate with your family.

About Honu by the Sea
Honu by the Sea's mission is to "nurture children who cherish the ocean." Created by Hawaii-based music producer, composer, and singer Johnson Enos, the show aims to instill in children a love for the ocean and marine life. Through songs, dances, and colorful costumes, it provides children with an opportunity to learn about the marine environment and marine life while having fun. The show was performed annually at Tokyo Sea Life Park on its anniversary from 2016 to 2019, and is now returning after a seven-year hiatus.
