To create an environment where more people can visit with peace of mind, Tokyo Sea Life Park has started lending out "sensory goods" to support people with sensory sensitivities.
This initiative is a project that emerged during the consideration of the "Accessible Project" for the opening of the new aquarium in 2028, and will be implemented prior to the aquarium's opening.
Examples of sensory items to be lent and their expected effects
Loud noises from the surroundings will be softened.
The feel and rhythm of pressing the buttons helps to calm the mind.
Watching the oil drip down is very calming.
Holding or hugging them provides a sense of security.
How to use
Information Counter, 2nd Floor, Main Building
Available anytime during park opening hours.
Anyone who needs it can use it.
Available only within the main building.
Please return it to the information counter when you leave.
Use is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted.
Our aim is to create an aquarium where everyone can enjoy themselves and learn.
