Highlights of the exhibition

The area of Inokashira Park Zoo Zoo is approximately one-third of that of Inokashira Park, and is divided into the "Main Zoo," which houses the zoo, museum, and Sculpture Museum, and the "Aquatic Life Park," which houses Aquatic Life House and waterfowl exhibits.
It houses approximately 160 species of animals.

Zoo (Main Zoo)

Inokashira Park Zoo is divided into two parts: the main zoo and the branch aquatic park. The zoo mainly exhibits creatures that live in Japan's mountains and fields. In addition to animal exhibits such as the "Squirrel Trail" and the "Guinea Pig Petting Corner," there are many other attractions scattered around the park, such as the Wildflower Garden, the Camellia Garden, and "Doshinkyo," which is the relocated study of Noguchi Ujo, set against the backdrop of a grove of trees that evokes the Musashino Plain.

Sculpture Garden

In the innermost area of the main zoo is the Kitamura Seibo Sculpture Garden. In addition to exhibits in three buildings, Sculpture Museum A, Hall B, and Atelier Hall, there are also outdoor exhibits.

Aquatic garden (branch)

The Aquatic Life Park takes advantage of its location surrounded by Inokashira Pond to exhibit mainly creatures that live near water. There is Aquatic Life House that displays creatures that live in Japanese rivers and ponds, and an outdoor cage that displays birds that live near water. There are also many large bald cypress trees within the park, and the straight trunks create a unique landscape.
