Camellia Garden

Over 60 varieties of camellias, known as "Edo Tsubaki," are planted here. Visitors can enjoy the sight of various varieties in bloom from November to May. The current camellia garden was created and relocated when the Nogata Nursery, which was then a base for seedling production for metropolitan parks, closed down between 1970 and 1971.
