Squirrel Trail
This facility allows visitors to walk through spacious cages where many Japanese Squirrel live. In spring, baby squirrels pop their heads out of nest boxes, and in summer they cool off in the trees or build spherical nests in the trees. In autumn, they are often seen hiding walnuts and other things, and during the winter breeding season they chase each other. Throughout the year, you can get a close-up look at squirrels living just like they would in a wild forest.
