From January 27th, the area around Five-storied Pagoda will be closed to traffic and animal exhibits will be suspended. (Note: Exhibits of Ezo Sika Deer and Japanese Serow will resume.)

Since some of the construction work has been completed, we will be reopening the exhibits of Ezo Sika Deer and Japanese Serow.

Exhibits may be changed or canceled depending on the animals' health condition or weather conditions.

Due to renovation work on the garden paths, the paths around Five-storied Pagoda pagoda will be closed to traffic all day from Tuesday, January 27, 2026 until around mid-March.

After the construction is complete, a portion of the pathway around Five-storied Pagoda pagoda will be closed to traffic.
