Located in the hills of Ueno Park, where giant trees grow thickly, the park is home to Gorilla Woods and Tiger Forest," "Forest of Elephant Forest," "Bear Hill" and "Polar Ber and Seal Oceans."

Located in the scenic northern area of Shinobazu Pond, where lotus plants grow and islands are scattered, the zoo is home to African animals such as Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Small Mammal House, Shoebill, as well as "Aye-aye Forest," Vivarium, "Children's Zoo STEP" which mainly features domestic animals, and "Panda Forest."
