The island of Madagascar, located east of the African continent, is a treasure trove of evolution, home to many unique creatures, including Aye-aye and lemurs. This area brings together all of the animals native to Madagascar. Ueno Zoo is part of a group that conserves rare local species, and has made great strides in breeding Aye-aye.
