Tama Zoo will be holding a spring observation program.

Next to Tama Zoo is Nanao Park, which also belongs to the Tokyo Metropolitan Tama Hills Natural Park area. The park, which covers an area of approximately 7.8 hectares, is home to a variety of plants, insects, birds, and mammals, and includes woodlands, grasslands, and an artificial pond. As you walk through the park, you can look for and observe the familiar creatures that can be seen in spring.

Search for living creatures at Nanao Park in spring!

On the day, after checking in at Main Gate of Tama Zoo, participants will move to Nanao Park for the observation session. This event will be led by a guest lecturer from the NPO Tree and Environmental Network Association, which manages the woodlands of Nanao Park.

The NPO Tree and Environmental Network Association is an NPO that supports forestation and nature observation programs with the aim of creating a sustainable society. Tama Zoo 's Lion Forest (a closed area near Lion enclosure) and Nanao Park are some of its fields.

*Registration begins at 9:40 in front of Main Gate Tama Zoo.
After checking in, you will walk for about 10 minutes to the observation site.

*Observation will be completed and the tour will be dismissed on-site. No entry into the zoo will be permitted.
