As part of its activities leading up to Animal Welfare Week (September 20-26, 2026), Ueno Zoo is participating in the "51st Animal Welfare Slogan Contest" organized by Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and has solicited slogans related to animal welfare.
We are pleased to announce the winning entries from our garden, selected from a total of 197 submissions. All of the winning entries are truly moving and impressive works! Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry.
