Added on June 11, 2026: The exhibition started on Thursday, June 11th.

Since the practice sessions for introducing the blue-eyed cockatoo to the exhibit area went smoothly, we began exhibiting it on Thursday, June 11, 2026, as follows.

Exhibition begins

From Thursday, June 11, 2026

Exhibition location

Next to the Pygmy Hippopotamus enclosure West Garden

Exhibition Hours

Opening time: from park opening until 3:00 PM

Opening times may change or exhibits may be canceled depending on the health of the animals or the weather.

Starting Friday, April 17, 2026, we will begin practicing bringing the blue-eyed cockatoos out into the enclosure on an irregular basis. The location is next to the Pygmy Hippopotamus enclosure West Garden.

The Bird House. Due to the rebuilding of Bird House because of its aging facilities, the exhibit was closed in June 2025, and since then it has been kept in a private facility.

We are currently using a birdcage to help the bird get used to the environment of the exhibit, so please observe quietly.

Please note that we are unable to answer questions regarding the availability or schedule of the exhibition. Thank you for your understanding.
