About the release
It will be available to view in Eurasian Moorhen area from Thursday, March 19, 2026.
After arriving at the zoo, the zebras and oryx will undergo quarantine in Domestic Horse and oryx enclosure for a period of time.
During the quarantine period and while the giraffes are adjusting to their new enclosure, they will be displayed in a sub-paddock adjacent to the main enclosure, rather than in the large enclosure where Giraffe are kept.
Visibility may be poor for a while; we appreciate your understanding.
After completing quarantine, we plan to gradually acclimate him to his new environment and then exhibit him in Eurasian Moorhen area alongside Giraffe, Scimitar-horned Oryx, and Great White Pelican along with Nanato, a male who arrived earlier.
We will inform you about the public viewing of the large enclosure as soon as a decision is made.
