Tama Zoo will be hosting the "12th Tokyo Metropolitan Zoological Park Africa Fair," which will introduce the nature, culture, tourism, current state of wildlife, and conservation activities of various African countries, with the aim of fostering friendship with these nations. We invite you to visit the park and experience Africa firsthand.

アフリカフェアに参加する各国の代表や来賓によるオープニングセレモニー。ゲストによるトークもおこないます。12時50分の開始に合わせ、アフリカ音楽の公演から、賑やかにアフリカフェアがスタートします。
※屋外の会場のため、一部優先席を含む観覧者用の長椅子の数に限りがあります。譲り合ってご利用ください。

African country introduction booths: "African Hippopotamus"
Embassies from various countries and organizations involved in Africa-related activities will set up booths, showcasing information on wildlife and tourism in African countries, as well as selling local products.
Additionally, booths related to the Tama Urban Monorail and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government are also scheduled to be exhibited.

A stamp rally around the park called "African Stamp Rally"
アフリカを生息地とする動物を多数展示しているアフリカ園や、アフリカフェア会場をめぐる園内完結スタンプラリー「アフリカン・スタンプラリー」を開催します。各ラリーポイントを回りながら、スタンプを集めてください。
すべてのスタンプを集めた方、各日先着800名様に記念品をさしあげます。

Glass art by Yuko Monden
Yuko Monden, a line artist residing in Hino City, will paint glass art on the glass doors at the entrance of Watching Center. She will paint it little by little, mainly on days when the center is closed, building anticipation as it is completed by the day of the Africa Fair.
Connecting to the Africa Fair! A Relay of animal keeper' Stories ~Let's Learn About the Charms of African Animals~
From before the Africa Fair to the day of the event, animal keeper at the Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos (Ueno Zoological Gardens, Tama Zoo Inokashira Park Zoo Park, Tokyo Sea Life Park, and Oshima Park Zoo) will give talks about African animals.
Further details will be announced at a later date.
Panel Exhibition: "A Journey Through East Africa's World Heritage Sites – The Breath of the Land and the Inherited Culture"
East Africa is home to magnificent natural World Heritage sites and cultural World Heritage sites that tell the story of a long and rich history. There, you can find the lives of people who have lived in harmony with nature, and a diverse range of cultures.
This exhibition focuses on World Natural Heritage Sites and World Cultural Heritage Sites, showcasing their wildlife and attractions. Enjoy their charm as if you were traveling to these locations yourself.
