Black-tailed Prairie Dog are scheduled to reopen to the public on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Due to construction work on Black-tailed Prairie Dog enclosure in East Garden of Ueno Zoo, the path in front of Black-tailed Prairie Dog will be narrowed from Wednesday, January 14th to Sunday, January 18th, 2026.
