Due to the worsening of environmental problems such as habitat loss and changes in ecosystems, many wild animals are facing critical situations.
We must reaffirm our understanding that life on Earth is interconnected and mutually supportive, maintaining its diversity, and continue our efforts toward biodiversity conservation.
To further promote one of its founding principles, "contributing to the coexistence of humans and animals," Tokyo Zoological Park Society has established the "Tokyo Zoological Park Society Wildlife Conservation Fund." Since 2012, the fund has been providing grants to support activities that contribute to the development and promotion of zoos and aquariums, as well as actively promote wildlife conservation.
This grant program aims to promote wildlife conservation activities by various entities both domestically and internationally, and to communicate their value to a wider audience.
For fiscal year 2026, we will be accepting applications for approximately seven general entries, approximately five junior and senior high school student entries, and one "Tokyo Zoological Park Society Conservation Partner" entry, in which the association will work as a partner for three years on continuous conservation activities based on a theme set by the association, in order to further promote conservation activities for rare species.
For details regarding application guidelines, application forms, and more, please see the page below. We look forward to receiving many applications.
