At Tama Zoo, the zoos and aquariums are working together to promote the breeding of Amur Tiger, a rare animal species.
Futaba was born to her mother "Ichi" (owned by Shunan City) and her father "Artyom" (owned by Tokyo).
As a result of breeding through a breeding loan (*) based on the species management plan of the Biodiversity Committee of Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Futaba will be transferred to Tokuyama Zoo in Shunan City.
