Electric cart rentals will begin at Tama Zoo from March 1st.

Tama Zoo will begin renting out electric carts that do not require a regular driver's license, primarily to reduce the burden on senior citizens when visiting the park and to improve the ease of getting around.

From March 1, 2026 (Sunday)
Rental Eligible Persons
In principle, those who meet any of the following criteria
People aged 65 or older
People who have difficulty walking for long periods of time
Rental fee
2,200 yen (tax included) / 1 day
Rental reception location
In front of the stroller rental station inside Tama Zoo

When using the service, please check the precautions and fill in your name and phone number on the application form.
Some areas of the building and park are closed to traffic.
During periods of bad weather or on days when congestion is expected, such as during Golden Week, we will suspend rental services to ensure safety.
Due to limited availability, you may not be able to use the facilities if they are all currently rented out.
