We will be moving birds from the rearing enclosure and the new stork enclosure (some species will be taken out of display).

Tama Zoo will be carrying out construction work in the brooding enclosure and adjacent cages to prevent infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza.

Consequently, the birds on display at the affected facility are being moved to other facilities within the park. As a result, some birds will no longer be available for viewing.

Moved to a facility within the park that is not open to the public (exhibition suspended from June 30th)

As a result of this construction, the birds that will no longer be on display in the park are Eurasian Eagle Owl and the Black-headed Gull.
