Raccoon Dog will be visiting the park from Matsumoto City Alps Park (on display from January 14th)

Added January 13, 2026:
The facility will be open to the public from Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Until the animals get used to their new environment, they will be free to come and go from the playground and bedroom. Please understand that there may be times when they are not available for viewing.

Inokashira Park Zoo has not exhibited Raccoon Dog since May 2025 due to the death of a previous exhibited individual. However, a female Raccoon Dog dog will be arriving from Matsumoto City Alps Park (Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture) on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
