Ueno Zoo Ueno ZOO School, a hands-on class for learning about the bodies and lives of animals through careful observation, will be held at the Ueno ZOO Museum. This year, we are recruiting participants for the first and second grade course.
We will announce the course for 5th and 6th graders in the fall, and the course for junior high school students in the winter.

Visitors can see and touch specimens of animals kept at the zoo, and learn about the wonders of feathers, scales, and fur.

Furthermore, by observing and touching small animals such as guinea pigs up close, students learn about the role of fur and experience the warmth of living creatures.

Precautions


Each person may only apply once. Furthermore, only one entry per person is allowed. Please note that multiple entries from the same applicant will be considered invalid.
We cannot accept applications from those who have previously participated in the Ueno Zoo School 1st or 2nd grade courses.
At Ueno Zoo School, activities may involve touching animals or taking place in dusty or grimy environments. Therefore, we ask that individuals with related allergies or conditions such as asthma refrain from applying.
The program will be recorded for publicity and documentation purposes. Please be aware that the recordings may be used on websites and other promotional materials.
Parents are not permitted to observe during Ueno Zoo School programs. If your child requires parental support or special considerations, please indicate this on the registration form.
