Ueno Zoo Ueno ZOO School, a hands-on class for learning about the bodies and lives of animals through careful observation, will be held at the Ueno ZOO Museum. This year, we are recruiting participants for the first and second grade course.
We will announce the course for 5th and 6th graders in the fall, and the course for junior high school students in the winter.

Elementary school 1st and 2nd grade | Sunday, July 5, 2026 8:45 AM - 11:30 AM | Approximately 30 people | Visitors can see and touch specimens of animals kept at the zoo, and learn about the wonders of feathers, scales, and fur. Furthermore, by observing and touching small animals such as guinea pigs up close, students learn about the role of fur and experience the warmth of living creatures. |
