Introducing a new form of fun: the Shoebill Cart! (Updated 9/4: Operating hours extended)

The operating hours for "Hashibiro Cart for Kids," designed for families with children, will be extended by one hour starting September 5th, 2026 (Saturday). For detailed information on operating hours and how to ride, please check the link below.

Ueno Zoo As a new initiative to enhance the attractiveness of the Shoebill, we will begin operating the "Hashibiro Cart," a small electric cart featuring the motif.

The Shoebill Cart seats four people. It is scheduled to operate on a special course in West Garden.

Service schedule and usage instructions

Trial operations will begin on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. For detailed operating schedules and usage instructions, please see the Hashibiro Cart page.

Please note that a numbered ticket obtained through online application (first-come, first-served basis) is required to board. Reservations will be accepted from 12:30 PM on the day of operation.
