March 17th - April 5th "Cherry Blossom Viewing at Ueno Zoo- Enjoy the Cherry Blossoms and Birds"

event
March 12, 2026

Ueno Zoo has nine varieties of cherry blossoms. Since they bloom at different times, from early to late, you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing for an extended period.

We will distribute maps showing the locations of various cherry blossoms, and we will also hold spring-themed events such as cherry blossom guides and bird watching.

Enjoy your spring break at Ueno Zoo, which will celebrate its 144th anniversary on March 20th.

Ueno Zoo distributes cherry blossom viewing map.

Why not take a stroll through the zoo this spring, enjoying the differences in color and shape of the nine varieties of cherry blossoms planted here, and experience the zoo from a different perspective than usual?
