Deep-sea creatures
Deep-sea creatures
The deeper you go, the less sunlight reaches the deeper the water, and the colder, more highly pressurized the world becomes. In this corner, deep-sea creatures that can be kept in captivity are exhibited under dim lighting and low water temperatures. In addition to edible Splendid Alfonsino and black rockfish, you can see a variety of deep-sea creatures, including Giant Spider Crab, giant isopods, and Spotted Ratfish (a type of chimaera shark).
