"Dream Night at the Zoo" is an international initiative that invites children with disabilities and their families to zoos after closing hours for a fun and memorable experience. It began in 1996 at the Rotterdam Zoo in the Netherlands.

Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos and Aquariums have endorsed this initiative, and Inokashira Park Zoo will hold "Relaxing Zoo Dream Night & Evening" after closing time on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the zoo at your leisure.

We will be posting the latest information on this page, so please check it before your visit.

Saturday, June 6, 2026, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM (Admission reception: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM)

No prior registration is required.
The event will be held even in rainy weather, but will be canceled in case of severe weather such as typhoons.
If any cancellations or changes are decided, we will announce them on Inokashira Park Zoo official website.

The playground equipment in the "Swing Area" and "Amusement Park" is unavailable.
The aquatic life park (annex) is not accessible.

Individuals holding a "Physical Disability Certificate," "Intellectual Disability Certificate," "Love Certificate," "Mental Disability Health and Welfare Certificate," "Certificate of Medical Treatment for Specific Chronic Diseases in Children," "Certificate of Service Recipient," and other various benefit certificates, as well as their family members or caregivers.

Animal exhibits may be canceled or changed without notice due to the animals' condition, weather, or other factors.

Participation tickets will be distributed starting at 5:30 PM.

How to participate

① Please take the "participation ticket" that will be distributed.
・Participation tickets will be distributed from 17:30 at the locations marked with a ★ on the Dream Night park map.
Please take only one item per set.
・Registration will close once all participation tickets have been distributed.
*Please refrain from running around the park, as it is extremely dangerous.

② Please come to the venue at the time indicated on your participation ticket.
・You may have to wait up to 10 minutes.
・One admission ticket allows entry for accompanying persons as well.
There is no limit on the number of accompanying persons.

③ Photos will be taken using the customer's camera. To avoid long waiting times, please refrain from using multiple cameras.

How to participate

No prior registration is required.

Admission is free.
Please present the above-mentioned notebook or benefit recipient certificate to the staff Main Gate.
Please ensure all members of your group are present when entering the park.

Inokashira Park Zoo does not have a parking lot. Please use the nearby private parking lots.

Note: The paid parking lot at Inokashira Park is operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Parks Association.

The park is some distance from the parking lot. If needed, temporary drop-off and pick-up are available at the plaza in front of Main Gate of the park, so please come directly to the park.
Crowds are expected on the day. Please use public transportation whenever possible.

Sign language support will be provided for the hearing impaired. Please check the Dream Night park map for information on events with sign language interpretation (the park map will be updated in the future).
During the rainy season, sudden downpours can occur. Please prepare rain gear.
