Tokyo Zoo Volunteers
The Tokyo Zoological Park Volunteers (TZV) will provide explanations about each exhibit. Join the members as you observe the animals, participate in animal quizzes, and touch the specimens to learn about them in a fun way. There will also be guided tours of the sculptures and picture-story shows.

Copper Pheasant Guide
Members of the Tokyo Zoological Park Volunteers' Docent Group (TZV/DG) will talk about Copper Pheasant, a species endemic to Japan, including the reason behind the male's beautiful plumage and its connection to Japanese culture.

Wildcat Guide
Members of the Tokyo Zoo Volunteers Docent Group (TZV/DG) will talk about the Tsushima Leopard Cat leopard cat, a wild cat that lives only on Tsushima Island in Nagasaki Prefecture. They will introduce its physical characteristics, lifestyle, and current situation in its habitat.

Bottle Watching
Join members of the Tokyo Zoo Volunteers Docent Group (TZV/DG) as you observe familiar aquatic creatures such as minnows and freshwater shrimp, as well as Japanese Japanese Newt, up close through transparent bottles.

Peace Memorial Statue Guide
This guided tour, led by members of the Tokyo Zoological Park Volunteers' Service Guide Group (TZV-SG), offers a close look at the original model of the Peace Memorial Statue, created by sculptor Seibo Kitamura in his studio at the Zoo's cultural park. We will trace the steps taken by the sculptor during his creative process.
