10/31~1/11 Photo Exhibition: A Little Look at animal keeper 's Camera Roll

event
October 29, 2026

We will be holding a photo exhibition showcasing some of the best pictures from the camera rolls of animal keeper at Inokashira Park Zoo.

You might think that animal keeper have plenty of opportunities to capture fascinating images of animals! However, what animal keeper usually photograph are records of the animals' behavior and health. For example, they photograph how the animals eat, how they use newly introduced plants in their enclosures, the healing process of injuries, and daily records of their droppings—quite different from the photos taken by visitors. So, for this photo exhibition, we asked zookeepers to "take photos that only animal keeper could take!" and we received a lot of masterpieces taken in between their work.

These are precious photos taken by animal keeper during their work, capturing moments of the animals in the backyards and showing their unique personalities. Please take your time and find your favorites.
