Career Education Support Program
Workplace visits: Advance reservations required
As part of career education support, education and outreach staff will give talks to deepen understanding of Inokashira Park Zoo 's activities and their social significance. Please note that participants will not be able to experience animal care or work.
Junior high and high school students
Weekdays excluding school holidays and closed days
10:00-12:00 or 13:30-15:30
1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours (negotiable)
Up to 4 schools per month, 6 students per school
Up to two months before the scheduled date
Work experience: Advance reservation required
As part of our career education support, students will have the opportunity to actually experience working at Inokashira Park Zoo. After a guidance session, students will receive an explanation of the work of each department, and then they will actually experience some of the work. However, due to measures to prevent infectious diseases such as avian influenza, students will not be able to experience animal rearing.
Students from junior high schools, high schools, and special needs schools in Tokyo and nearby areas
*For those attending special needs schools, we will hold a meeting and interview in advance.
