"Special guided tour Let's Touch Deep-Sea Creature Specimens"

We conducted a special guided tour where staff members provided explanations in areas normally off-limits to the public, such as the back areas of the "Coral Reef Ecology" and "Seabird Ecology" exhibits.
After the tour, we held an event called "Let's Touch Deep-Sea Creature Specimens," where participants could actually touch specimens of deep-sea creatures.
We also presented our interim financial report for fiscal year 2025.

Behind the Scenes

"A special guided tour that lets you see behind the scenes of the aquarium"

The "Penguin Ecology" exhibit, which underwent renovations, was completed at the end of October 2024.
Among the behind-the-scenes facilities we've shown you so far, we gave our supporters an exclusive tour of this exhibit area, which is usually off-limits, and conducted guided tour led by the animal care staff.
Following the tour, a "Q&A with Zookeepers" session was held, allowing zookeepers and supporters to directly ask questions and interact with each other.
We also presented our interim financial report for fiscal year 2024.

Private penguin breeding facility

"A special guided tour to see behind the scenes of the aquarium!"

We held a special guided tour that took visitors to areas that are normally off-limits, such as the private penguin breeding facility and behind the scenes of the "Voyagers of the Sea" exhibit.
After the tour, a "Q&A with Zookeepers" session was held, allowing supporters to directly ask questions to the zookeepers.
In addition, an interim report on income and expenditure for fiscal year 2023 was presented.

"Common Murre egg painting experience, food explanation and feeding experience"

In addition to an explanation of the food in the feeding room and a feeding experience in the "Tokyo Sea," the children also had the opportunity to paint realistic patterns on Common Murre eggs.
Imitation eggs are used to maintain the parent birds' incubation activities when artificially warming and hatching eggs in place of the parent birds.

Using supporter funds, we held guided tour of the exhibits, including the Mediterranean Sea's "Fake Seaweed" and the Antarctic Ocean's "Floating Ice Fake Rock," as well as the special exhibition "Ikimono Magica," which is currently in pre-opening for the new exhibition.
We also reported on our income and expenditure for fiscal year 2021.

We conducted guided tour of the "Waterside Nature" pond and stream area, the "Rice Field" waterside natural area funded by supporters, and the "Special Exhibition: Cradle of the Sea" which opened in November 2018.
