This guide is provided by the facility staff responsible for maintaining the park's landscaping.

It has been 10 years since we started our conservation efforts for the Japanese lily in our park, and now you can find Japanese lilies everywhere in the park.

If you catch a sweet scent in the park at this time of year, it might mean that mountain lilies are blooming nearby. Mountain lilies are said to be among the largest flowers in the lily family, and mature plants can produce more than 10 flowers, sometimes even breaking under their own weight—a fascinating characteristic of this plant. We will talk about the unique ecology and life cycle of mountain lilies, as well as our conservation efforts at the park.

We have created a map (leaflet) of the best places to see the Japanese lilies.
