event
February 12, 2026 (Updated February 17, 2026)

*Registration is now closed as we have reached full capacity.

Tama Zoo will be hosting "Science Zoo Cafe," a career education program for junior and senior high school students featuring presentations by park staff. The program focuses on the work of zoo staff, offering insights into various roles supporting the zoo, introductions to the work of animal keeper and veterinarians, and even a roundtable discussion with staff members. Through these sessions, you can gain a deeper understanding of zoo work and the people who work there. What kind of work goes on behind the scenes at the zoo, which is usually hidden from public view? How did the people who work there come to this job, and what motivates them in their daily work? Why not take this opportunity to hear their stories?
