Golden Week Information (Please check before your visit)

If you plan to visit during Golden Week [April 25th (Sat) - May 6th (Wed)], please check the following beforehand.

*Please note that admission is free on Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th (holiday), and a large number of visitors are expected. Traffic congestion on surrounding roads and crowded parking lots are anticipated, so we recommend using public transportation.

Regarding days with extended opening hours

On April 25th (Sat), 26th (Sun), 29th (Wed/Public Holiday), and from May 3rd (Sun/Public Holiday) to 5th (Tue/Public Holiday), the park will extend its opening hours by one hour, remaining open until 6 PM (admission and ticket sales will end at 5 PM).

*Please note that on Wednesday, May 6th (a public holiday), the park will be open as usual until 5 PM (admission and ticket sales will end at 4 PM).

About Lion Bus

Tickets will be sold at Lion Bus Station starting at park opening time and will be available until sold out. The following dates are also eligible for online ticket sales (sales begin at 9:30 AM one week prior to each date).

About the shuttle bus

Due to anticipated crowding within the park, the shuttle bus route will be changed to a round trip between the area behind Watching Center and the Asian Plains.

*Even for animals other than those listed above, public viewing may be canceled or the schedule changed due to health conditions, weather, or reasons related to animal care and management.

Regarding the opening hours of the gift shop and food shop

On days when the park hours are extended, the store hours will also be extended.
Additionally, from May 3rd (Sun) to May 6th (Wed/Public Holiday), the food shop will open at 10:00 AM (the gift shop will open at 9:30 AM).

・There is no parking available at the park. Nearby private parking lots will be extremely crowded during this period, and traffic congestion is also expected on surrounding roads. Please use public transportation whenever possible. Access from Tama Zoo Station on the Keio Line or Tama Monorail is convenient.

• Luggage storage is available in the coin lockers located within Watching Center. Please check the following page for details on storage sizes, fees, etc.

We have lost child tags (stickers for writing your contact information and name) available for young children. They are distributed at the tent in front of Watching Center, so please feel free to use them.

- Collecting plants or animals within the park is prohibited. Bringing in insect nets or insect cages is also not permitted.

・Vehicles without handles, such as tricycles and kick scooters, toys such as balls, rackets, and kites, radios, musical instruments, whistles, and megaphones are not allowed.

Pets are not allowed in the park (service animals for people with disabilities are permitted).

Smoking is prohibited inside the park.
