Calling for participants for the "Beginner Bird Watching Event" on March 8th (Deadline February 11th)
Tama Zoo will be holding a bird watching event for beginners.
During the bird watching event, you will walk around the zoo early in the morning and observe wild birds with the zoo staff. This bird watching event is for beginners who are interested in familiar wild birds but have never observed them in depth, or who want to learn how to use binoculars.

*Reception begins at 8:00 at Main Gate
Animal Watching Center, inside Tama Zoo
Beginner birdwatchers of elementary school age and above (elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)

*Advance application required
If you have binoculars, please bring them with you.
*Please note that although they are available for loan, there is a limited number available.
Guidance in the animal hall and bird watching in the zoo
*Observe familiar wild birds in the zoo with zoo staff.
*In the event of rain, the program will be modified.
If the event is forced to be cancelled due to bad weather, snowfall, etc., the decision will be made at 3:00 PM the day before and the representative will be notified by email.
