In March 2025, a baby Pygmy Hippopotamus was born at Ueno Zoo for the first time in 13 years.
We will provide you with a breeding report that covers the efforts made to raise the animal, from its birth to its current growth.

In addition, Professor Shimano Tomoyuki of Hosei University contributed an article about a conservation support project for Bhutan's rare white-bellied heron, and Professor Kase Chihiro of Azabu University contributed an article about the athletic ability of Masked Palm Civet.

編集部のEメールアドレス henshubu@tokyo-zoo.net 宛てに、件名を「読者の誌上写真展」とし、住所、氏名、会員番号、撮影園館と動物名、作品についてのひとことを書いたメモをそえてお送りください（10MB以内、1度の投稿につき3点まで）。詳細は雑誌の「読者の誌上写真展」のページをご覧ください。
