Tokyo Friends of the Zoo

Animals and Zoos
Spring 2022 issue (No.726)

This is a special feature on Inokashira Park Zoo which will celebrate its 80th anniversary in May.
We will introduce the current state of Inokashira from various angles, including highlights of the zoo recommended by animal keeper, a behind-the-scenes look at the zoo's design reforms that have been underway for over 10 years, and information on stable fly countermeasures to protect animals from insect bites.
