Tokyo Friends of the Zoo

Animals and Zoos
Winter 2016 issue (No.701)

In the opening chapter, in celebration of the Year of the Monkey, we will introduce the "Monkey Mountains" at zoos across Japan.
Monkey Mountain is a kind of "typical" model, but in recent years various innovations have been made.
The main article covers topics such as hornbill breeding at Saitama Children's Zoo and the reopening of Pacific Bluefin Tuna tuna exhibits at Tokyo Sea Life Park.
