Tokyo Friends of the Zoo

Animals and Zoos
Spring 2007 issue (No.666)

In "Looking back on the history of traveling zoos," the author, who worked at a zoo in the United States, describes the history of zoos in Japan from the perspective of traveling zoos.
We have also included a transcript of a lecture given at Ueno Zoo by D. Kleiman, a promoter of golden Lion tamarin conservation efforts.
