General Affairs Department Work

The General Affairs Department oversees and manages the overall operations of Tokyo Zoological Park Society.
In addition to general administrative tasks such as general affairs, accounting, and human resources, we also handle a wide range of tasks, including sales promotion, product development, and planning, public relations, and marketing to publicize the appeal of Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos and Aquariums. We operate our business effectively and efficiently in cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and each zoo.

Business and sales jobs

The Operations and Sales departments manage the gift shops, restaurants, and fast-food outlets within the park. The Operations department handles store support tasks such as labor management, inventory management, and accounting, while the Sales department handles product sales, provision of various services, and menu development. Together, these two departments work daily to ensure that visitors can enjoy a safe, secure, and fun time at the park.

Guide job

Guide clerks are responsible for all aspects of the park, ensuring that visitors have a safe and comfortable time at the park. They also handle outsourced tasks such as collecting admission fees, cleaning, and security, as well as administrative tasks such as compiling visitor statistics.

Management job

The management section at each zoo handles all aspects of the zoo's management and operation. They handle everything from liaison and coordination with other departments within the zoo, public relations, and responding to various inquiries, fulfilling an important role as the hub of the zoo or aquarium, responding to requests from both within and outside the zoo.
