As previously announced, the return date for Ueno Zoo 's Giant Panda, Xiang Xiang, has been set for Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Xiang Xiang will enter animal quarantine on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in preparation for transport to China. During the quarantine period, she will be exhibited indoors all day.

Accordingly, viewing of Xiang Xiang will be limited to those who have been selected by lottery from those who applied online in advance (※All lottery applications have now closed).

We ask for your cooperation to ensure a safe and smooth viewing experience and to give Xiang Xiang a safe send-off.

Giant Panda "Xiang Xiang" (female) was born Ueno Zoo on June 12, 2017.

*There is no need to apply for a lottery to view Giant Panda "Ri Ri," "Shin Shin," "Xiao Xiao," and "Lei Lei."

Viewing time
9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (excluding days the park is closed)

*Please enter the park in time for your scheduled viewing time (if you are late for your viewing time, you may be refused entry).
*Please note that the zoo closes at 4 PM and entry is not permitted after that time. Those who have applied for a later time slot in the lottery should pay particular attention to this.
*The viewing times may be changed or the viewing may be canceled depending on the animals' condition.

*We will verify the identity of the representative at the time of registration, so please cooperate.
　*If a representative is not present, you will not be allowed to view the event, regardless of the reason.
　*The representative must have their identity verified.
　* Please prepare a form of identification for the representative, such as a driver's license, health insurance card, passport, or student ID. Annual passes and point cards are not accepted.

Regarding the final viewing time slot on the final viewing day
