We would like to inform you of the following regarding Giant Panda "Ri Ri" and "Shin Shin," and their two cubs "Xiao Xiao" and "Lei Lei," who were born on June 23, 2021.

Lili's current situation

Li Li's health is good.

We primarily feed them bamboo such as Moso bamboo, Shino bamboo, and Madake bamboo, and supplement their diet with panda dumplings, carrots, and apples as needed. We also continue to feed them bamboo shoots, which they eat well.

We change the location where we keep the animals depending on their condition and the weather. On days when the temperature is relatively low, we keep them outdoors, but on hotter days, we may keep them indoors in an air-conditioned room.

As of May 15, 2023, Leelee's weight was measured at 139.1 kg.

Shinshin's current situation

Shinshin's health is good.

We primarily feed her bamboo such as Moso bamboo, Shino bamboo, and Madake bamboo, and she also readily eats panda dumplings, carrots, and apples as supplements. The amount of food we give her is adjusted as needed according to her eating habits and weight changes. We continue to give her bamboo shoots, which she eats well.

We change the location where we keep the animals depending on their condition and the weather. On days when the temperature is relatively low, we keep them outdoors, but on hotter days, we may keep them indoors in an air-conditioned room.

On the evening of March 19th, she was separated from Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei and is now living alone, but she is calm, able to forage and rest, and there are no particular problems.

As of May 15, 2023, Shinshin's weight was measured at 128.4 kg.

Updates on Xiaoxiao and Leilei

Both animals are in good health and feeding condition.

They are mainly fed bamboo such as Moso bamboo, Shino bamboo, and Madake bamboo, and they also eat panda dumplings, carrots, and apples as supplements. Although there are differences in their weight, both are gaining weight steadily. We continue to give them bamboo shoots, which they eat well.

On the evening of March 19th, Xiaoxiao and Leilei separated from their mother, Xingxing, and began living together on their own.
Immediately after being separated from their mother, they were seen wandering around indoors and in the enclosure, but now they appear to be even calmer than when we last reported on their condition on April 27, 2023, and they are seen feeding and resting, and the two can even be seen playing together.

We've marked Xiao Xiao's back to allow us to review video footage of her nighttime activities and to clearly identify her in surveillance camera footage. She doesn't seem to mind the mark.
