Xiaoxiao (male)

Lei Lei (female)
Born June 23, 2021

Date of change

Starting April 16, 2024 (Tuesday)
*Depending on the animals' condition, the dates may change. If the schedule changes, we will notify you here.

reason

Giant Panda are solitary animals that do not live in groups. In the wild, cubs leave their parents and become independent when they are between 18 months and 2 years old.

Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei have maintained a good relationship since leaving their mother and have lived together even after turning two years old. Their closeness remains unchanged, but as they have grown larger, their rough play has become more intense, and one has begun to show signs of disliking the other. There is a risk of injury if they continue to live together, so we have decided to separate them and raise them separately before they turn three years old.

Exhibition location after separation
