A physical examination of Xiang Xiang, Giant Panda born on June 12, 2017, was conducted at approximately 9:30 AM on December 25th, when she was 196 days old. Her weight was 14.5 kg, an increase of 2.2 kg from 12.3 kg on December 9th. Her length was not measured.

Mother "Shin Shin" and Xiang Xiang spend their days in indoor exhibit rooms 2 and 3, as well as the outdoor exercise area. At night, they spend their time in indoor exhibit rooms 2 and 3, as well as their sleeping quarters.
Xiang Xiang spends her days awake for 1-3 hours and then sleeping for 3-4 hours. When she's awake, she walks around the house or climbs on trees and door bars. When it's time to sleep, she lies down quietly in a corner of the house, but she's also been seen sleeping in trees more often lately.
Furthermore, we confirmed that the animal defecated on its own on December 13th and 15th. The feces were very small in quantity, dark brown, clay-like in consistency, and contained hair and bamboo leaves.
Shin Shin takes care of Xiang Xiang by licking her body, nursing her once or twice a day, and helping her with her bowel movements. Shin Shin also frequently eats bamboo, bamboo grass, apples, carrots, and panda dumplings.
