Japanese Giant Flying Squirrel currently being kept at the zoo arrived in 2015. We had considered introducing a male to be its mate, but this proved difficult. Due to space limitations in the enclosure, we decided to move it to Inokashira Park Zoo flying Japanese Giant Flying Squirrel, with the aim of breeding.

Additionally, the sheep that were being kept at the children's zoo will now be kept and displayed at Inokashira Park Zoo as part of a change in their exhibit plan due to the facility's renovation.
