We are pleased to announce that Sumatran Tiger Ueno Zoo from Misaki Park (Sennan District, Osaka Prefecture).

Sumatran Tiger is a rare subspecies of tiger, with an estimated population of only about 400 individuals living on the Indonesian island of Kawakawa.
Zoos throughout Japan are working together to facilitate breeding by transferring breeding-capable Sumatran Tiger between zoos to create pairs and promote reproduction.
Bran is the offspring of "Keah," who moved from our zoo to Yagiyama Zoological Park on November 12th of this year (the announcement about Keah's move is available at...). Here We will work towards breeding Sumatran Tiger by promoting the creation of new pairs with the females "Manis" and "Inda" that we keep at our zoo.

Regarding disclosure
The release date will be announced on our website as soon as it is decided.

Two females (2 females) *This does not include "Blanc," who will be visiting the park this time.
