​As previously announced, in line with the growth of Giant Panda Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei, we are gradually increasing the amount of time they spend away from their mother, Shin Shin, to help them become independent.

Recently, the three cubs have been observed prioritizing bamboo foraging in the mornings, and there has been little contact between the mother and cubs. On March 10th, they were released into separate enclosures, and since the twins' condition has been generally stable, we will move from the current Step 1 "separation in the mornings" to Step 2 "separation in the mornings and afternoons".

Step 2. Separate living arrangements in the morning and afternoon.

In the morning and afternoon, Xin Xin, Xiaoxiao, and Lei Lei will be kept separately outdoors, and then brought indoors and kept together until the following morning.
