Tama Zoo will be opening two White-handed Gibbon, which arrived at the park in December of last year (2010) and February of this year through a breeding loan program, to the public from April 28, 2011. Please come and visit them!

Background of the release
Our zoo has decided to expand its exhibits by adding White-handed Gibbon to the facility next to the unused orangutan enclosure (the former Malayan sun bear enclosure), allowing visitors to compare them with other great apes. The two gibbons have now completed their quarantine and have been introduced to their owners, and are ready to be put on public display.
