Common Wolf has been given a name. Its name is "Sui".

On the night of March 1, 2024, a female Common Wolf wolf arrived at the zoo from Switzerland.

Common Wolf has arrived at the zoo.

This individual was born in April 2023 at Bern Zoo in Switzerland and lived with its parents and siblings. It has now come to our zoo to form a new group. The journey was long due to connecting flights, but it was very calm upon arrival. As soon as it woke up from the anesthesia for the examination, it carefully sniffed various places such as the floor and bars to get a feel for its new environment.

This is the first time in approximately 23 years that a new individual of Common Wolf has arrived at our zoo.

After arriving at the zoo, the animals are undergoing quarantine in a restricted area. We will announce the public viewing date on Tama Zoo website as soon as it is decided.
